3.1 Information you voluntarily provide to us: When you visit our Website, purchase from our store, sign up for our newsletter, register for an account, consult with our customer service team, send us an email, or communicate with us in any way, you are voluntarily giving us information that we collect. By giving us this information, you consent to this information being collected, used, disclosed, transferred to the United States (where our Website platform Shopify is hosted) and stored by us, as described in this Privacy Policy.

3.4 Web beacons: We use web beacons on our Websites and in our emails. When we send emails to our newsletter subscribers (members), we may track behaviour such as who opened the emails and who clicked the links. This allows us to measure the performance of our email campaigns and to improve our features for specific segments of Members. To do this, our newsletters include single pixel gifs, also called web beacons. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you open the email, your IP address, your browser or email client type, and other similar details.

4. Payment Processing

If you purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below:

Stripe and other payment gateways: Most of our commerce payments are hosted by Stripe. Stripe provides us with an online e-commerce transaction platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Stripes data storage, databases and the general Stripe application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall where it is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

5. How do we use your personal information?

Orders: We use the order Information that we collect to fulfil any orders placed through the Website (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. 

To send you informational and promotional content in accordance with your marketing preferences: Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you. These may include information about promotions and new product releases. You can stop receiving our promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in every email.

We may also use your information to:

  • Send you an email inviting you to view your abandoned shopping cart;
  • Deal with entries for our competitions;

6. Data retention

6.1 Orders and Accounts: When you place an order through the Website or sign up for an Account with us, we will maintain your Order Information and Personal Details for our records, unless and until, you ask us to delete this information.

6.2 Pro Artist Discount Programme: Any identity (ID) evidence submitted to us for the Pro Artist Discount Programme, will be immediately deleted upon confirmation of your Pro Artist Membership. All other personal information provided to us, will be stored on your account in accordance this Privacy Policy

7. Who has access to your information?

We only share your Personal Information with third parties that are relevant to help our Website run smoothly, as described below. We will not sell or rent your information to any other third parties (including for marketing purposes) unless we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: 

We may pass your information to our third party service providers for the purposes of completing Website tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to process Orders and send you our Newsletter). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond the PROMA KIT Network, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

Currency converter: By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.
